Adult Sunday School classes meet at approximately 10:00 am (after our 9:00 am worship service and prior to our 11:05 am service). A variety of adult Sunday School classes are offered – each with its own special mix of styles and interests. You can learn more here.

We are women like you, a powerful, fearless force driven by God’s love and united in sisterhood. With a focus on women, children and youth, we act for justice and transform communities. Join us, because love in action can change the world.
Men of strawbridge
Our newly-formed Men of Strawbridge ministry provides an opportunity for the men of Strawbridge UMC to get to know each other better while building relationships to grow deeper in their faith and fully experience the power of Christ. This is a group for all men at any stage of life.
They will meet once a month for a meal or to participate in a mission opportunity. They will also have events throughout the year with their families.
Their next fellowship event is on Saturday, June 22 at Max Bowl - Humble starting at 2:00 pm. This is a men's only event and costs $20/person.

Be the Bridge
We are called to be Ambassadors for Christ. Join us in welcoming diversity and healing into our communities. Listen, learn, think, re-think, grow your empathy, and build bridges with us! Our SUMC "Be the Bridge" group is happy to announce that we recently completed our first 10-week class study offered here at Strawbridge! We are excited to continue meeting, sharing, and learning as a group in addition to offering the study again in the Fall. Group meeting details and activities information will be updated very soon so please check back. Save the Date for Wednesday, June 26 for a special summer movie night! Our Facebook page is coming very soon so please check back for that address!

50+ Travelers
The Strawbridge 50+ Travelers remain very active with quarterly field trips throughout the year where they visit some very interesting - and very fun - places throughout SE Texas.
They most recently attended a Houston Astros game on Tuesday, June 4 where they cheered the team on to a victory over the St. Louis Cardinals in a very exciting game!

Senior XYZ Dinners
EXTRA YEARS OF ZEST!
Our Senior XYZ Dinner group meets-up at a local restaurant for fellowship and supper together on the 3rd Saturday of each month.
Their next outing is on June 15 at El Ranchero (on TX-494 Loop near Northpark) at 4:30 pm. For more details or to RSVP, please contact Mike Mayfield.
